This Privacy Policy explains how ArbeitTech ("ArbeitTech", "we", "us", or "our") collects,
uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our mobile applications and websites,
including the ArbeitTech Customer App, Provider App, Serviceman App, and related web
dashboards (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the collection
and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Account information: name, email address, phone number, password (stored in encrypted/hashed form), and profile photo.
Verification & onboarding documents: for Providers and Servicemen, we collect identity documents, licenses, insurance, and vehicle documents required to verify eligibility to offer services on the platform.
Location data: real-time and job-related GPS location, used to match customers with nearby providers/servicemen, enable live tracking during an active job, and calculate service areas and routes.
Job & service data: job requests, job status, photos uploaded for a job (e.g. before/after images, damage documentation), messages exchanged through in-app chat, and ratings/reviews.
Payment information: we use Stripe as our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers; payment card data is handled directly by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. We retain transaction records, invoices, and payout history.
Communications: messages you send to our support team, and in-app chat messages between customers, providers, and servicemen related to a job.
2. How We Use Information
To create and manage your account and verify your identity.
To match customers with available providers/servicemen and facilitate job dispatch, tracking, and completion.
To process payments, payouts, refunds, and generate invoices/statements.
To send transactional notifications (job updates, payment confirmations, chat messages) via push notification, SMS, or email.
To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
To respond to support requests and resolve disputes between customers and service providers.
To improve and maintain the reliability, security, and performance of our Services.
To comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
Between users: when you book or accept a job, limited information (name, profile photo, phone number, location, vehicle details) is shared between the customer and the assigned provider/serviceman to facilitate the service.
Service providers we use: Stripe (payments), Firebase (push notifications, authentication infrastructure), Google Maps Platform (location, routing, and address autocomplete). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.
Legal & safety: when required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ArbeitTech, our users, or the public.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality safeguards.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as necessary to provide the
Services, comply with legal obligations (e.g. financial record-keeping), resolve disputes, and
enforce our agreements. Job history and transaction records may be retained for a longer period
as required by applicable tax and accounting laws, even after account deletion.
5. Your Rights & Account Deletion
You may access and update most of your profile information directly within the app. You may
request permanent deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time via our
account deletion page:
app.arbeittech.com/account-delete.
Once verified, we will delete your account data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we
are required to retain certain records (e.g. completed transaction history) for legal or
regulatory purposes.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including encrypted
transport (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls — to protect your information.
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute
security.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a
child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete it.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including
through our infrastructure and service providers. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data
is treated securely wherever it is processed.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated
through the app or via email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect
constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
